THE CHALLENGE

Philips needed a launch moment that would elevate Café Aromis beyond a typical product demo, something that could cut through the crowded coffee category and make people feel the machine’s promise of personalization and craft.

The challenge? Turn the launch of a coffee machine into an experience worth talking about; and transform Café Aromis into Philips’ first-ever café brought to life.

THE SOLUTION

We opened the doors to the world’s first Philips Café; a fully branded, living café environment where every touchpoint, taste, and detail was powered by the Café Aromis machine itself.

Guests entered a space transformed into an energetic, design-led coffee haven: tasting trays showcasing 50+ drink varieties, bespoke coffee creations crafted on Aromis, branded menus and newspapers, barista uniforms, and a live DJ shaping the atmosphere into a coffee-fuelled rave.

To deepen product understanding, we built a hands-on discovery journey. Visitors joined immersive masterclasses hosted by chef Joris Bijdendijk, tested the machine themselves, and explored interactive stations where they could design content, style their ideal home coffee corner, and create personalized keepsakes like engraved handmade ceramic mugs.

The result was a fully sensorial, social-first, unforgettable launch that turned a coffee machine into a cultural moment, one that people didn’t just attend, but tasted, crafted, documented, and took home with them.
